“Dimmelo in tre minuti” (“Tell me in three minutes”) is the result of an homonymous project realized in 2023 by the Esecutori di Metallo su Carta ensemble, 19’40”, the Italian Ministry of Education (MIUR), and the “L. Canepa” Conservatory of Sassari.
The project featured tutoring from composition professors Fabio Conocchiella and Pietro Dossena for the students of the composition class, who challenged themselves with writing absolute and applied music. The six pieces created were performed and recorded by the Esecutori di Metallo su Carta ensemble during a three-day artistic residency. The concert held on March 23, 2023, in Sala Sassu was subsequently released as an album on Bandcamp.
The composers involved are Alessandro Catte, Francesco Congiu, Luigi Frassetto, Marco Lizzeri, Graziano Madrau, and Dario Sanna.
