Puntuale 3: five gatherings of listening, exploration, and discussion

Marcello Corti puntuale 3

Puntuale 3 is not a festival. Puntuale 3 is five events designed to bring together live music, conversation, presentation, listening, analysis, and—why not—debate. Puntuale 3 is five magazine-style evenings crafted for a curious audience. This series, taking place from September 2025 to February 2026, was created with the goal of exploring music in unconventional ways, offering concerts and performances that cross genres and styles, blending artistic research with moments of pure listening pleasure.

Each evening is a unique event, featuring musical proposals that range widely: from political music to tributes to experimental composers, from the exploration of video game soundtracks to the reimagining of great works from the past. This variety makes Puntuale 3 the perfect experience for anyone who loves music in all its forms and seeks something beyond a traditional concert—a sonic journey through different eras and influences.

24 September 2025 — MUSICA POLITICA
In a time that seems to demand either silence or noise, we choose music—not as background, but as an act. Political Music is a sonic journey through past struggles and present urgencies, weaving together words, rhythm, and the absence of sound. We do not celebrate nor condemn: we listen, we respond, but above all, we participate.

With Bruna Di Virgilio, Enrico Gabrielli, Francesco Fusaro, Sebastiano De Gennaro, Marcello Corti

5 November 2025 — HENRY COWELL, OSTINATO
A visionary composer and radical experimenter, Henry Cowell turned his life into a sound laboratory, inventing techniques and breaking rules. This evening is designed for those who have never even heard his name. No thresholds to cross, no codes to decipher: some music is not meant to be understood, but to be experienced.

17 December 2025 — ARCADE MUSIC vol.3
An evening and a magazine dedicated to play—video or otherwise—across past and present. On Biko’s stage, analog instruments give body to music born in the digital realm. Esecutori di Metallo su Carta explore hidden, iconic, and surprising sound worlds: press start and do not forget to save!

21 January 2026 — PICTURES AT AN EXHIBITION
The Winstons + Rodrigo D’Erasmo + Andrew Quinn

Gabrielli, De Gennaro, Corti, D’Erasmo, and The Winstons, together with Esecutori di Metallo su Carta and Andrew Quinn, reinterpret Mussorgsky’s Pictures at an Exhibition in a version that fuses chamber spirit with the progressive attitude of Emerson, Lake & Palmer. A project that spans centuries and styles, balancing rigor, play, and invention: classical music? Yes—or rather, no. Or maybe… anti!

4 February 2026 — LESIMAN, AKA PAOLO RENOSTO
Calibro 35 + Esecutori di Metallo su Carta

Two names, one voice: Paolo Renosto, student of Dallapiccola and a reserved figure of Italy’s New Music scene, signed as Lesiman some of the most fascinating library works of the 1970s. Between academic rigor and funk tensions, his double musical life tells the story of an era of cracks and visions. Esecutori di Metallo su Carta and Calibro 35 celebrate his hidden greatness with an evening that unites music for images and contemporary music.
